One of the difficulties of being on a LoSo diet is finding some snacks that won't ruin all of your efforts from breakfast, lunch and dinner. If your meals are each 400-500 mg each, and then you have several processed snacks during the day, you might as well not have even bothered with the LoSo meals you prepared. LoSo Flavored Popcorn comes to the rescue -- not only is it a low carb and a low calorie snack, it can be flavored in so many ways.
Kernel Seasons
Kernel Seasons has an amazing array of popcorn flavors. Some are very low in sodium -- some are not. Some are dairy, and some are not. Some are kosher, and some are not. Below is a list of some of the flavors that are either zero sodium or low in sodium. There are other flavors you can try, but they are higher in sodium. Kernel Seasons are supervised by the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc), who have a full listing of which products are dairy. You can find many of them in your local supermarkets. I have seen them in my local Stop and Shop as well as Gourmet Glatt.
Flavor God
Flavor God is another treasure trove of toppings and spices that can be used to make your LoSo Flavored Popcorn, and they are all supervised by the OU, and even better are pareve! Nothing better than finding a low carb, low calorie, and low sodium option for after a meat dinner.

Pop Your Own
Don't bother popping your corn in a pot! Who needs that mess? Here are two products that I bought to make my life easier.
The Original Salbree Microwave Popcorn Popper, Silicone Popcorn Maker is a breeze to use. it is however, a bit of pain to clean in my opinion. Whatever you do, don't pop the popcorn with the oil in the popper. I found that out the hard way. We are now on our third one. But that's how much we like it!
The Ecolution Original Microwave Micro-Pop Popcorn Popper, Borosilicate Glass, 3-in-1 Silicone Lid, Dishwasher Safe, BPA Free, 1.5 Quart Snack Size is great mini snack size. It is also easy to clean -- and dishwasher safe.
My kids and my husband have since hijacked both of these. A bonus is that most of them no longer eat the packages of microwave theater popcorn. That's how easy they are to use.
We use Orville Redenbacher's Popping and Topping Buttery Flavored Oil to mix with our toppings after popping to get the flavor infused in the popcorn. It is under the OK supervision and is pareve (even with "buttery" in the name.) This is another one of those items that I buy with Amazon's Subscribe and Save and 6 in a pack. We go through it that quickly. Did I mention it has 0 mg of sodium?
When All Else Fails...Popinsanity
If you don't even want to bother popping your own popcorn, Popinsanity products are amazing! The best part is that involves no work. Buy the bag and open 🙂 The only issue is the cost. They can be rather expensive. Again, not all of their flavors are low in sodium, but as I have listed below, some are. So once in a while treat yourself to this amazing low sodium snack!
